Nissan India will add new variant Datsun Redi-GO transmitted Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) in January 2018. The transmission system is quite familiar with the AGS as in the Suzuki Karimun Wagon R and Ignis.
This transmission is different from the conventional automatic AT (Automatic Transmission) or also an advanced such as CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission). However, this is an alternative technology to provide a two-pedal drive experience (without clutch pedals), regardless of how it feels when driven. visit: http://newcarsandreviews.com/2017-nissan-lannia/
Quoting Indianautosblog on Tuesday (5/12/2017) if this new information matches the news circulated in June, which mentions that AMT’s variant of Redi-GO will arrive before the end of the current fiscal year (early 2018).
The model also adopted the 1.0L has a 5-speed AMT transmission, similar to that applied to Renault Kwid. This could be a fresh breeze, for consumers who expect the presence of an automatic transmission on the Datsun model.
Datsun Redi-GO AMT will likely be priced at a premium or more expensive about 30,000 rupees ($ 400) from a manual variant. Interesting, whether this transmission will fit on Datsun and be able to siphon consumer interest.
For the engine itself is three cylinders 999 cc, the first time used on Renault Kwid in August 2016. The machine is able to remove power to 68 PS @ 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm @ 4,250 rpm. visit: http://www.newcars2018usa.com/honda-cr-v-achieves-high-level-of-safety/
Will the AMT transmission be used on Datsun sold in Indonesia or even AT or CVT? Let’s wait.
